Noncommutative Black Hole Thermodynamics

چکیده
We give a general (metric independent) derivation of the relation Th = K 2π connecting the black hole temperature (Th) with the surface gravity (K), following the tunneling interpretation of Hawking radiation. This derivation is valid even beyond the semi classical regime i. e. when quantum effects are not negligible. The formalism is then applied to a spherically symmetric, stationary noncommutative Schwarzschild space time. The effects of back reaction are also included. For such a black hole the Hawking temperature is computed in a closed form. A graphical analysis reveals interesting features regarding the variation of the Hawking temperature (including corrections due to noncommutativity and back reaction) with the small radius of the black hole. The entropy and tunneling rate valid for the leading order in the noncommutative parameter is calculated. We also show that the noncommutative Bekenstein-Hawking area law has the same functional form as the usual one.

Reissner-Nordström Black Hole Thermodynamics in Noncommutative Spaces
This paper considers the effects of space noncommutativity on the thermodynamics of a Reissner-Nordström black hole. In the first step, we extend the ordinary formalism of Bekenstein-Hawking to the case of charged black holes in commutative space. In the second step we investigate the effects of space noncommutativity and the generalized uncertainty principle on the thermodynamics of charged bl...
متن کاملFailure of Standard Thermodynamics in Planck Scale Black Hole System
The final stage of the black hole evaporation is a matter of debates in the existing literature. In this paper, we consider this problem within two alternative approaches: noncommutative geometry(NCG) and the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP). We compare the results of two scenarios to find a relation between parameters of these approaches. Our results show some extraordinary thermodynamic...
متن کاملNoncommutative geometry inspired wormholes and dirty black holes
We provide new exact solutions of the Einstein equations which generalize the noncommutative geometry inspired Schwarzschild metric, previously obtained by the authors. We consider here more general equations of state and find new geometries describing both a regular “dirty black hole” and a “wormhole”. We discuss strong and weak energy condition violation and variuos aspects of the regular dir...
متن کاملToward the New Gravitational Noncommutative Mechanics and Statistical Mechanics of Quantum Black Holes
This is a short account of our work on the statistical mechanics of ‘cold’ quantum black holes in the constituent model of a black hole 3 4 . A quantum Schwarzschild black hole consists of gravitational atoms of Planckian mass scale 3 4 . The gapless bosonic collective excitations of a bound state of N gravitational atoms dominate the thermodynamics of a cold quantum black hole. It turns out th...
متن کاملEinstein Gravity as the Thermodynamic Limit of an Underlying Quantum Statistics
The black hole area theorem suggests that classical general relativity is the thermodynamic limit of a quantum statistics. The degrees of freedom of the statistical theory cannot be the spacetime metric. We argue that the statistical theory should be constructed from a noncommutative gravity, whose classical, and thermodynamic, approximation is Einstein gravity. The noncommutative gravity theor...
